1. What we use
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We also use your browser's local storage, which works in a similar way but is never sent to a server automatically. We use only what is listed below — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. Strictly necessary — always on
Sign-in session (sb-…-auth-token cookies): keeps you signed in and protects your account. Set only when you sign in; removed when you sign out or the session expires.
Pending confirmation (investpig_pending_email cookie): remembers the address you are confirming, so the page that asks for the emailed code can fill it in. Set only during sign-up, an unconfirmed sign-in or a password reset; deleted once the code is accepted, or after one hour.
Consent choice (investpig:consent, local storage): remembers whether you accepted analytics, so we don't ask on every page.
Reload flag (ip:stale-reload, session storage): after we publish a new version, makes sure an outdated page reloads itself only once. Deleted when you close the tab.
Push token (investpig:push-token, local storage, mobile app only): remembers the notification token this device registered, so signing out can withdraw it and your alerts stop reaching the device. Stays on the device until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
These are required for the Service to work and do not need your consent.
3. Preferences — kept only in your browser
Language, display currency, theme, sidebar state, chart settings, your guest watchlist, the assets you viewed recently, a connected wallet address and whether the logo animation has already played this session (investpig:locale, investpig:displayCurrency, theme, investpig:sidebar, investpig:chartIndicators, investpig:chartVariant, investpig:guest-watchlist, investpig:recent, investpig:wallet, investpig:logo-intro-played).
They remember choices you make, are not stored on our servers, and stay until you change them or clear your browser data.
4. Analytics — only with your consent
Google Analytics (_ga and _ga_<ID> cookies, up to 2 years): measures visits and how pages are used, so we can improve the Service. Google Analytics is not loaded at all — and no data is sent to Google for analytics — until you click “Accept analytics”. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. The data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC under Google's privacy policy.
5. Your choices
You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, analytics stops and we delete the analytics cookies we can reach. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings; signing in requires the session cookie.
